Lenco Yachts Charter is a small family business. We have been sailing for more than 30 years, both on leisure and racing level and now we are realising a lifetime’s dream; we have decided to turn our passion into business and transmit all these years’ experience to people. We have started our business in 2014 with a small fleet of brand new Bavaria monohulls that we keep in excellent condition, for our clients to have the least possible problems and the most possible fun! We are Corfu local people so we guarantee we can cope with any situation that may occur, swiftly and efficiently.
Our home port is Marina Gouvia in the island of Corfu, located just 10 minutes from Corfu airport. Corfu is a popular destination with charter flights from many European countries flying directly to the island. Our area is the North Ionian Sea, on the western side of Greece, which has very good weather conditions, gentle winds, lovely beaches, crystal clear water, many picturesque and hospitable islands very close to each other, safe ports, secluded bays, good traditional food and a satisfying number of marinas where our clients may find water, fuel and shore power. This area is also ideal for inexperienced sailors, families and those on a sailing holiday who perhaps see “holiday” as a priority.
Corfu is perfect for exploring the surrounding area of the greek mainland and for trips further south to other popular Ionian Islands such as Paxos and Antipaxos that are a real highlight of every sailors visit to the north Ionian, or on a two week yacht charter one may visit Lefkas, Meganisi, Ithaca and Kefalonia “the whole Ionian”, which is a lovely holiday.
